Translations for businesses

Your carefully crafted content
is a valuable asset.

Your content contributes to your (corporate) identity. It tells your clients who you are, what you value in your employees, and why you are enthusiastic about your product and services.

Making sure your translation is linguistically, culturally and conceptually equivalent to the original: that is what I do. But that can be tricky if your primary audience is located in the Netherlands and/or in Belgium. The grammar and spelling of both variants of Dutch are the same, but the meaning of some Dutch words and expressions is country-specific.

Nothing should be lost when you convey your identity into another language. I can help you achieve that.

Medical translations for CROs and Life Sciences

Reliable, accurate and culturally appropriate.

Delivering accurate translations in a timely matter and responding quickly to unforeseen linguistic issues is crucial, so you can meet your deadline.

I have assumed different roles in the linguistic validation process of clinical trials from forward translator to back translator, reconciler to reviewer, to localizer. When adapting medical questionnaires and informed consent forms for children, adolescents and adults and localizing various documents for a specific country, working with a native speaker is essential.

Small adjustments can have a huge impact.

Written and spoken translations or interpreting assignments for attorneys

I help you discover what you need.

If you need to peruse Dutch documents to obtain information that may pertain to a case, I can facilitate and speed up that process, freeing up your time. At depositions, I help lawyers get their meaning across and meticulously communicate the witness’s testimony.

Translations for academic institutions

Your international students speak English!

Competition to attract foreign students who want to pursue an academic or professional bachelor, or an advanced degree, is fierce.

If you want to engage with a global student body you need carefully crafted content in English for all your marketing and application materials, courses, and exams by a translator who has linguistic skills equivalent to a native speaker’s.

Voice-of-the-customer (VOC) interviews for consulting firms

Valuable feedback = Actionable improvement

To understand your customers’ needs, perceptions about their products and service, and determine what drives the company’s decisions, you need an experienced interviewer.

Since 2008, I have conducted hundreds of VOC-interviews with respondents in the Netherlands and Belgium. I have turned reluctant customers into engaged, accommodating and forthcoming customers by setting up and introducing the interview properly, making sure the customer knows what to expect, and engaging the respondent in an in-depth conversation.

Certified translations of official documents

Translated, sent and delivered. Hassle-free.

Are you applying for dual citizenship or need a passport?
Do you want to start a business in the US or overseas?
Does your child want to go to graduate school in the US or Belgium?

To achieve that goal, you need a certified translation of your official documents. And that is not all. Most likely, your translation needs to be notarized, accompanied by a Certificate of Accuracy and an apostille (a certificate that states a document is authentic).

Does this make your head spin? There is no need. I can guide you through the process, translate the various documents, and collect the necessary signatures.

You’ll receive an electronic copy in your Inbox and a hard copy by FedEx.
On budget.
On time.
